Trail starts west side of parking following a little over a mile of single track to a paved road. Head left up the road, pass the fire road on your right then take a right/west on single track. Follow single track to a fire road, turn right up the fire road (nice loose rocky climb) which dead ends into single track. Follow single track to the over look
Lots of fun!!! all up hill and rocky. But not wildly technical but not easy. All pays off once you turn around.
Thank |Add to your fun: go up Gold Lake HWY a little ways to find lots of free camping on lakes
So good with a bit of everything! Rocks, roots, drops and flow.
Thank |Fun trail. Be ready for about 7 miles of climbing before bombing back down the trail. Worth every bit of the climb up. Pretty rocky in most areas but that's the Sierras.
