Mountain Biking Milma Creek Trail
#179 of 403 mountain bike trails in Georgia
Milma is almost 4 miles of flowy, bike legal 4x4 trails that are quickly
converting back to doubletrack. It's nice break from the uphill grunt on
Windy Gap if you choose to access it from that point. It's a even nicer
reprieve if you choose to access it from the technical, arm-pumping DH you'll
find coming down Tibbs ORV trail. No major climbs but scenic mountain
views and several creek crossings that are all very ridable. Most people
combine it with Windy Gap, Tibss ORV, and a short section of FS 68 to
complete the feared "Windy Gap Loop" but it can easily be ridden as an out
and back if you don't want to deal with Tibbs or Windy Gap.

From Eton, head east for 4.3 miles on Old CCC Camp Rd. Turn left on FS
218. The road will be marked with a Windy Gap Cycle Trail sign. Follow FS
218 2 miles to the Windy Gap Parking lot. Pedal 1.5 miles up the Windy Gap
trail and the Milma Creek trail will start on your right. You can't miss the
sign. The other access point is located approximately 2.5 miles from the top
of the Tibbs ORV trail which has a trailhead on FS 68 at the top of Grassy
Mt.
