Always a fun, earthy ride. Mix of grass, dirt, sand, and pine needles along with segments with
gravel, mud, sticks, roots and rocks etc...

Basically wide, winter xc ski trails that you can ride through the woods. Easy rolling. Not Single track at all. Only trails near the Dells. Good if you need a break on the family trip. Little bit of climbing will get you rewarded with some fun, long downhills. Watch out for a few sand traps here and there. Trail is well marked.

8/6/16 trails are in good shape, mostly dry and grassy, through the woods, some open prairie areas, thin dirt single track down the middle. "Sand dune" bad spots from several years ago seem to have improved and don't seem to be an issue and are rideable. They have 3 loops there: 1 'easy', and 2 'moderate' which have some decent hills to climb.
