Mountain Biking MoJoe

*****   Add a review
#103 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado
#720 in the world

Awesome pumps, rollers and tabletops make MoJoe an awesome addition to the 18 Road trails. "B" routes are included as well.

MoJoe is a one-way trail leading from the bottom of Joe's Ridge back towards the parking area. It ends in the same spot as Kessel Run; turn left to head back to the parking lot.

Getting there
MoJoe can be reached either by heading west on the road at the southern end of the 18 Road campgrounds (the same road where Kessel Run crosses) or by riding Joe's Ridge. MoJoe starts at the end of that trail.

Fun, flowing trail. Some fun river bed rocks to challenge yourself.

I didn't spot the table tops but this is the best technical ride at 18 Road. You get to it from Joe's Ridge. The two together showcase the best of what's good at 18 Road.

Rode Joe's followed by MoJoe x 2 this past weekend and it is in better shape than I remember it last season, with more sculpted jumps, a couple of clean doubles, and a new rock drop near the end. Never fails to disappoint! I wish this trail was ten miles long!

It's great to have a full-length extension to Joe's Ridge rather than having to cut off at the dirt road half way down. If you like features on PBR but want a little more, head over to MoJoes. If you decide the features are still too big, they all have ride arounds, making this a good trail for groups with riders of mixed abilities.

Great to see this section finally get open. Rides a lot like Kessel but with more jumps added, and maybe not quite as good of flow as Kessel. In any case, it is definitely nice to be able to ride Joe's all the way down to the trailhead.

Wow, what a blast! This is like PBR or Kessel on steroids...fast, flowy, with some large jumps and some gaps. Awesome!

Super fun addition to Joe's! I rode this the day it officially opened several weeks ago. Great jumps - not too much consequence if you wreck so a great place to improve your skills.

Great addition to the 18 Road trails! This definitely makes it difficult to decide what to do after riding Joe's Ridge...Kessel? MoJoe? Both???
