Mountain Biking Monarch
#116 of 138 mountain bike trails in Minnesota
Machine built flow trail through woods and open fields. Fast and rolling terrain with numerous small table tops and berms. Open to fat biking in the winter. Trail completely funded by the One Track Mind Foundation! In the last year (2022) they have added extensions to three of the five loops - Raptor Ridge, Ravine Rush, and Paradise - and Grimm's Grind and Easy Rider. The system offers many technical obstacle challenges, particularly on Paradise, which is designated as a black diamond loop. There is a nice bank-turn switchback section on the Raptor Ridge loop. Winter trails are groomed for year-round enjoyment. Plenty of parking. Carver Park, which includes the Monarch trail system, also offers archery and groomed X-Country ski trails (classic and skating) for those that would like to cross train. They have also added a bike park off of the Paradise loop with jumps ranging from blue to black, berms and a couple of nice drops.
