All I can say is the last 2 days (October 20 and 22) have been a blast. I'm rediscovering mountain biking after having stopped for at least 20 years (using a hard tail with the first Rock Shox - RC1). I bought a full suspension bike 2 weeks ago and wanted to try it out on some real trails. I was not disappointed with Sutton. At this time of the year with all the rain, I'm happy that I had put my mud guard on the rear and front. There is a lot of mud so expect to get dirty! The trails are fun and enough to get you tired after a few runs up and down the mountain. The price is 12.75$ plus taxes. The season pass is around 67$ plus taxes. I have to say that this reveiw is based on my beginner's experience. I'm in no considering myself an expert or even an advanced mtb rider. At 53, I do it just for the fun of being outside. I mostly ride like an old fart! Maybe the expert will find the trails to easy but for me it's very cool being able to ride for more than 3 hours (until I have no more juice to climb all the way up the mountain using the "Aweille en haut" trail) in nature with not to many riders! Some trails are shared with hikers but Sutton being Sutton, there are not tons of people at one time so it's not a problem.

This place is going to be one of the best in the Eastern Townships in a couple of years. The ski resort invested $$$ this season to build a new climb that goes to the top of #2 chairlift a very nice enduro style downhill with very nice features (natural rock wall ride, 35ft long slick rock, berms, etc.). They plan on building lots of new trails in the next few years. Everything is rollable (for now).

This is fun little place. They started doing Cross Country and Enduro trails only two years ago from my understanding after talking to the local guide. There was a nice gentleman that I have met on the trail and he showed me around. They have about 30 km of enduro and cross country trails combined so if you are staying in the area it's worth checking out. Nothing very technical there so if you are looking for very technical riding go to Bromont bike park. At Sutton most trails will be rocky and rooty but everything is rollable. They are adding new features like table tops and small jumps weekly so always something new and exciting. To climb to the top without going too hard takes about 15-20 minutes. It's not a steep climb that gradually brings you up in switch backs. You have to pay to ride. I think it was about 10 dollars. It's worth worth checkin out. I came from Toronto for the weekend to do Sutton and the next day I did Bromont. Its half an hour away from each other. They have maps on trail forks under Plein Air Sutton
