Mountain Biking Montreal Cross Country Ski Trails

****   Add a review
#151 of 388 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin
#7,345 in the world

Actually some really cool trails for not being singletrack, some pretty decent
tech stuff, some decent hills, the cool iron soil of northern Wisconsin, and
you can ride to the highest point in Wisconsin. Very cool! I looked at a
map of cross country ski trails and snowmobile trails in the county that are
legal to mountainbike in the summer, and if memory serves there were well
over 100 miles. If that's your thing, then you may need to check northern
Wisconsin out.

Getting there
In Montreal, if you are heading north on the highway (77) go right off the highway until you can't anymore (about 2 blocks) and look for them.

They are my local trails so I know my way around and there are some single track that brings you to a bridge that crosses a waterfall and leads to gile Wisconsin. Many other parts of the trail have cool mine buildings with some decent hill climbs there are no burms but have some technical features

This is actually a pretty fun ride for being a cross country ski trail. It runs past some really cool mining buildings, and has some fun rocky sections.
