Mountain Biking Moray/Salt Mines
#5 of 11 mountain bike trails in Peru
The first section is a 9 kilometer route of gentle up and down single track through farmland and views of the Urubamba glacier range. After arrival at the Salt Mines, ride the remaining several kilometers down some technically Intermediate singletrack. The trail is originally a hiking trail and there are only portions that are singletrack. Link up with KB Tambo Tours for guides and bikes.

Shuttle to the Archaeological site of Moray in Urubamba. From there, jump on the road taken into Moray briefly and break off to the open trail headed East. Follow the hiking trail into to Marras, then out of the North side of town just beyond the Plaza de Armas onto the Salt Mines. Hit the big jump on the downhill from Marras. Continue to follow the trail North past the Salt Mines. Shuttle pick-up anywhere in the small towns after the Salt Mines.
