Mountain Biking Morrell Falls National Recreation Trail #30
#88 of 265 mountain bike trails in Montana
This National Recreation Trail leads to Morrell Lake and beautiful Morrell Falls at the base of the Swan Mountain Range. Views of the Swan Mountains are tremendous from Morrell Lake. Morrell Creek cascades down a spectacular 90-foot, double waterfall.
This is one of the most popular trails on the Seeley Lake Ranger District. The trail is predominantly used by day hikers although bicyclists and stock users frequent the trail as well. The trail is closed to motorized vehicles, except for snowmobiles after December 1.

Pretty ride which goes quick. Lots of fun riding down, jumping the tree roots. It is worth the drive back to the trailhead.
Thank |Beautiful woods and great water features. 3 big trees down across the trail today, had to lift the bikes over. Lots of big roots along the trail and some steep sections. The falls are worth every earned pedal! ! Not a trail for kids to ride, but a hike would be fun. Restroom at the trailhead and lots of parking.
