Rode the back section this afternoon and had a blast, just didn't ride as fast as normal. This time of the year the weather is nice but the leaves are falling, in certain areas the trail is already covered, so be extra cautious, even if you know the trail exceptionally well.

I rode the back section yesterday and the condition of the trail was near perfect, partly because there was a race here last weekend and packed the ground and traction was near perfect also. Although it was a little warm (86 degrees), I seem to enjoy and perform best in hot weather. Since the trails have finally dried out from the damp cold winter, the riding has been great. The back section is laid out very similar to Wild Turkey and Blue Heron with the turning, twisting, short up and down, technical dips, and tough climbs. That's the reason I like this trail so much.

I rode the yellow section today, ccw. This section has a little more flow and I was able to carry a little more speed. There are still many hand side rocks and big roots to keep your speed in check. Entering the yellow section ccw there an easy climb until you get all the way over to the right side and start up the longest continuous climb on the entire course, I'm assuming that's the edge of the property line where a big section of trees were logged. It rained about all day yesterday, but there was no slick places anywhere. All in all this was a good ride, with perfect 68 degrees weather.

One of the best set ups around. Rode there this weekend with 4 friends and the trails were open clear and dry even with all the rain. Does not disappoint

One of the best trails around. After the storms it was the only trail open in the area. Thanks to the folks that maintain this great trail

Awesome trails probably some of the best kept I have ever ridden. All the trails in our area are closed due to the hurricanes but not Mountain Laurel Trails

I love these trails for a bunch of reasons. One they are fast and keep you on your toes. Two they have a few GOOD climbs that wont completely kill you. Three I LOVE the black diamond trail. Four these trails are some of the best maintained trails I have ever ridden. They keep them clear and open and they dry UNBELIEVABLY fast! I highly recommend these trails you wont be sorry
