Mt. Lennard Mountain Bike Trail (known by everyone locally as the Pile Rd trails) is 35km of mountain bikes trails of varying difficulty, for riders of all levels.
The trails tightly weave through the mature jarrah forest and granite outcrops, to provide spectacular views of the lower Collie River Valley. The valley supports unspoiled vegetation, indicative of the cool, damp, microclimate - providing habit for marron, kangaroos, cockatoos, many of our native marsupials and over 300 varieties of colorful wildflowers.

Yes its singletrack
| ThankYes its ok
Yes, there are more fun trails in the area
No, it does not deserve a black rating
Fun single track trail, which also includes some optional black trail features.
| ThankDespite the supposed black diamond rating, there are few serious technical obstacles on this trail.
It is a bit remote, and has plenty of elevation - but that does not justify the rating in my opinion.
If it wasn't for the Collie River, I would not really see the point. That does make it worth-while, though.
Note: 4WD use the trail along the Collie River.
| ThankJust beware the slippery surface...
| ThankEasily my favourite trail in the area.
| ThankLovely flowing trail, but always keeps you awake as the trail can be hard to see and the surface can be slippery.
When you get to the bottom, you just want to do it again!
Has the odd view out over the valley, but this is primarily a joining trail rather than fun in its own right.
| ThankNice flowing single track - just wish there was a shuttle service!
| ThankSome good trails that are (mostly) well marked maintained by the SW MTB Club, in a quiet and picturesque area.
There are great DEC camp spots at Honeymoon Pool, only 2km from the Millbrook Trail, or on the edge of Wellington Dam itself at Potters Gorge. There is also other accommodation options in Ferguson Valley - including the Farm Stay, which is great for those with kids.
