Mountain Biking Valley Vista Trail System
#144 of 710 mountain bike trails in Utah
The trails are well marked, are ridden counter-clockwise, and have clear directional markers. There are many options to piece together multiple loops. The tail is currently very packed, but a little dusty in some areas and the bermed corners can be loose. This trail was just finished in late summer 2016, so after a winter and some more riding this trail will become an awesome little system. Trail-head has bathrooms, water and some picnic tables.

From Utahmountainbiking.com: From the Canyon Road (100 East Street) in Pleasant Grove, turn east -- towards the mountains -- on 1100 North. When you pass 600 East, watch for the entry to the Wade Spring Murdock Canal Trailhead on your left, just before the paved trail crosses the road. To start the ride, you can exit the parking area on the north by the big white pipe. Link to FaceBook page: https://www.facebook.com/ValleyVistaTrails/
Pretty good trail but don't be discouraged by the black diamonds there not difficult what so ever but the super fun to ride though
Thank |It was kind of dusty and of course it was hot. Other then that it was good. The dust subsided however as we got up onto gamble and soft rock.
Thank |I have been a road cyclist and my wife and I are just starting to mountain bike. We have full-suspension bikes and the trails here are great! First of all, if one is looking to get basic practice on a mountain bike and is not in great shape yet, the green (beginner) track is phenomenal. It presents some little challenges for technique and some good rolling hills to get the heart pumping and legs burning a bit. The blue (intermediate) is mostly manageable technical things like rocky areas, some steeper descents, and tighter corners. There are some things that made me think, "holy...that is no intermediate obstacle!" But again, I am really new and only been mountain biking for about 6-9 months; Not quite regularly too. So this makes me think that Valley Vista Trail System is a great place to get my skills up before trying anything too risky. Nonetheless, it is challenging enough to wake one's inner-daredevil.
Thank |I rode this with my youngest daughter today. It was a fun ride with many options to piece together some really fun loops. Most of the trail is rated as intermediate, but there are some sections that will challenge everyone. As the trail ages it will only get better and with it being close to the metro area and right off a heavily traveled bike path, it should see a lot of use.
