Great place to visit. Trails are narrow but ground packed well.(some are loops, some aren't) Plus campgrounds the area is also popular for Kayaking so bring your boat and bike and stay the weekend. for Kayaking I'd suggest a little drive to Pepper Branch Park in McMinnville foat to Rocket Park(Rocket Park
Rocket Park is located off Beersheba Hwy and Cope Street. This park includes a ballfield, clubhouse/meeting room, covered picnic tables, restrooms, playground, basketball courts, tennis court and boat ramp access to the Barren Fork River. The clubhouse and ballfield are available for rentals and special events. )it may not look (Not the most pleasant area but trust me it's fine) 1.5 Hrs or keep a trucking to the VFW in Warren County(8hr-10hrs) depends alot on if you fish could be longer or shorter.

Rode the amphitheater trail last weekend with my wife. Fairly short trail at about 2.2 miles with the side excursions. But we had a blast and will ride again, had some short downhill followed by climbs and was well maintained. Park rangers stopped and spoke with us before we started, he advised us not to add in the moonshine loop unless it was late fall or winter because it was short .5 miles and pretty snake ridden this time of year.
