Mountain Biking Myoji

***   Add a review
#5 of 18 mountain bike trails in South Korea
#3,506 in the world

This is a nice trail system in Goyang. The trail system weaves through great mountain views and ancient tumulii (burial mounds). Also you will come across small rice fields and an active military base. The variety found on this small trail system really is a treat to bicycle through.

Getting there
From Wondang station (line 3) exit 6 across the street is a welcoming dirt trail. Follow that and the trail signs that follow. Cross Highway 100 underpass and go towards the small town of Samreung. The singletrack trail network is to the west of Samreung.

This trail has good flow and a good grade. There's very little if any hike-a-bike sections. It goes across a variety of scenery such as small farms, military bases, and grave yards. It's short but definitely one of the better trail systems a short distance from downtown Seoul.
