A mountain bike leaning against a tree in a wooded area, with a sign above it that reads "TRAILS ARE FOR PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE USE ONLY." The bike features a black and blue frame and has a water bottle attached to its frame. Lush green foliage surrounds the bike, and the ground is sandy with some rocks and vegetation. Mountain Biking New London Tech Trails (Orange/Blue)

#154 of 300 mountain bike trails in Virginia
#5,862 in the world

Blue is loads whoopier ;) but the orange is a lot longer. Both are easily completed in less than an hour. Super flowy and fast with not all that much technicality or steep ups and downs. Beginner level.

This is my favorite place to ride in the Lynchburg area! I usually go a couple times per week. Parking is in the back of the tech park and secluded. Very well built and maintained, and very quick and flowy. I think the terrain could have been better used to make the blue trail even more fun and flowy - they have a lot to work with here.

Make sure you take the north-most blue route behind the trail head sign. Otherwise you'll be battling uphill over the berms the whole time. I'd also take the orange route across from the parking lot perpendicular to the gravel road - there's construction, so it's not well marked, but you can go INSANELY fast down this trail. I typically hit 25mph easily, and I'm a pretty slow rider. Just be mindful of pedestrians because a lot of families hike/walk dogs here and may not move quick enough.
