Mountain Biking Newell Creek Canyon Nature Park
#272 of 306 mountain bike trails in Oregon
Officially opened in 2022. Shared use trails. Consists of three fairly beginner/intermediate trails. The first one is most of a connector trail to the others and while it has two small site hit jumps and a fast downhill section, don't take the corners too fast because there is no berms. The other two trails are much better. Red Soil Roller, a green, has lots of fast flowy berms and endless rollers that are fun to manual. Heavy Nettle, a blue, has some huge berms as well as a few jumps. The largest jump is an 8 foot table that can be pumped if you are not comfortable hitting it. These trails are right in the city so they would make a great after work spot to get some stress relief.
