Mountain Biking Newman Springs Trail

***   Add a review
#136 of 387 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin
#6,502 in the world

Keep in mind that this trail is closed from March 15th to April 30th to avoid damaging the tread while the ground thaws. Although it is mostly composed of doubletrack, the Newman Springs trail system provides a sense of isolation that few places in Northern Wisconsin can afford. Loops D and C are located in low-lying that can get a little boggy in summer; however, loops B and E more than make up for it by serving up steep, undulating terrain. Loops B and E also narrow and get significantly more technical as they are ridden. Finally, thick forest completely and totally surrounds the trail, making Newman Spring's wilderness vibe not one to be missed.
