These are the new mountain bike trails that popped up, from England to Arkansas.
Here are the mountain bike trail openings we're tracking this month.
Another new mountain bike trail system just opened in Arkansas, this time in Hot Springs. The Northwoods Trail System is set to feature 44 miles of singletrack by the time the project is complete.
Sanctioned trails that are supported by the local community make for some fantastic riding. Super fun and flowy. Not super technical but I did stay on the blue and green trails. I will be back to check out the black trails and hopefully be met with a bit more technically difficult terrain. Overall it was an awesome trail system that is well labeled and thought out. Can't wait to hit it again!!
Thank |Cat’s Meow is a fun flow line with so many jumps it’s difficult to hit them all. This is a nice progression from the green berms-and-pumps trails to something more challenging. There are some difficult options such as a quadruple jump, that can simply be rolled/pumped. This trail is super fun and shouldn’t be missed.
Thank |A little something for everyone
Thank |Pretty damn awesome!
Thank |Well constructed and nicely maintained. Waterwork trail is flowy and fast. LOVE the table tops on Cat's meow. Northwoods trail has a lot of awesome rock gardens and the black diamond was extremely challenging.
There is something out there for everyone. Want old school single track, Cedar Glades will fit the bill and when you have had enough just of that ride over to Northwoods for some fast flowy trails or hit the table tops for a little air time and if you really want some hang time check out the black diamond jump trail.
Thank |A great mix of trails! The climbs were challenging but not discouraging. Had to ride these trails two days in a row with my Florida crew!
Thank |This network is measured in smiles not miles.
Thank |Great local IMBA designed playground. Nice bombing downhill on Lucky 13 and fun technical descent on End of the Rainbow. Sections all a little short but it's nice you can connect to Cedar for a longer XC type ride.
Thank |Amazing fun! I am sort of an intermediate rider and we had 2 newbies with us for our group ride. Everyone enjoyed these trails. Downhills are so well done. Just hold on and grin!
Thank |Top notch trail system in Hot Springs, AR! Northwoods provides something for every skill level and has some of the best single track in the southern United States.
Thank |This is a great mix of flow and singletrack trails. The description should be updated because it is about 14 miles now with a mixture of 20% black, 40% blue, and 40% green. It has three small lakes and three dams that create some great waterfalls. It is also connected to Cedar Glades Park trail system with adds another 10 miles of trails to the system.
Thank |Excellent fun flowing trail. We are so fortunate to have this new addition to the Hot Springs area. I will be a frequent flyer for sure!
Thank |What great set of new trails. I drove in from Jonesboro and had a great time. I also used the zigzag trail to connect to the Cedar Glades loop and rode it also.
