Trail is just across the street from El Capitan Preserve. I found the trail to be marked but the loop is not conclusive. I ended up riding back down the road to complete a 4.5 mile loop. There was an interesting trail junction which had s small sign indicating that the trail ahead was park of a trans county trail. Worth investigating but would probably be better done with a phone equipped shuttle driver ready to pick up the volunteers in Poway. I will submit a Gps download of this trail when I can
