Mountain Biking Oat Hill Road

****   Add a review
#147 of 1,004 mountain bike trails in California
#2,172 in the world

There is one way in and one way out as far as I know. The trail is a very technical climb, but the climb is definately worth the excellent downhill. The downhill is very rocky and technical. The view of the valley and surrounding moutains is awesome!

It was cold, 27 degrees and windy cold. Trail conditions were good though. Lots of tough technical on the way up, but huge fun on the way back down. Just watch out for Hikers and play it safe on the blind turns.

Tough climb but the views are amazing, don't give up even if you have to walk it. It's rocky but worth it. One of the better rides I've done in a while and a ridiculous view of the valley.

This is a very technical climb. The decent is awesome but very technical as well, mostly the top section. The climb up isn't very steep but you use a lot of energy hopping up rocks. I recommend this for anyone who enjoys advanced all mountain riding.

Great workout with a view! always a solid up hill burn with a few technical rocky spots. There are at least 3 ways down, some include very narrow singletrack, jumps, and even a teeter-totter. This ride can range from a short 30-60min loop to all the way to etna springs trail head in Pope Valley and back. Its very fun to explore if the conditions are right. But beware.. its very technical to ride down some of the very steep singletrack when the trail is dry.

Great fast rocky technical descent on old jeep trail. Can be accessed by Angwin with some time and luck.
