Mountain Biking Dark Side

*****   Add a review
#98 of 388 mountain bike trails in Wisconsin
#4,748 in the world

Recently redone in 2018, Dark Side is now hot slice of gravity-fed flow trail. Expect berms, jumps, and buffed out machine-built tread. Just don't get too rowdy!

Rockier than Skeeter / Abyss / French Connection / Bob Trail section of HPT. Ob-1 has quite a few switchbacks with rocks and one hairy (AWESOME) downhill section with large, flat rocks. Log obstacles and rock obstacles also. They usually have routes around them. Dark Side has quite a few switchbacks also and a few larger log piles. Unfortunately, Pud-N is no longer used.

Definitely at least a single black diamond rating, if not almost a double in places. This is a super fun, technical trail that has been really well designed. Awesome mountain biking!
