Mountain Biking Old Flathead River Ranger Station Trail

****   Add a review

Easy ride on a mostly level trail. A couple of up and downs are steep, but the majority of the ride is easy. Ride through new growth forest and along the rim next to the Flathead river. The views and open spots are beautiful. The 9 mile round trip is worth every pedal. The end of the trail gets pretty overgrown, but what is a good ride without some challenges.

Easy ride with a couple steep hills. Trail goes through new growth forest, along the rim next to the Flathead river, ends in a wooded overgrown section at a beautiful creek. Great spots for lunch, pictures and watching the clouds go by. Everyone should ride this one for an afternoon of Montana beauty.
