Mountain Biking Old Post
#38 of 207 mountain bike trails in Arkansas
Updated description, 6/7/14 by Bobby Smart:
This is a single track trail system that has recently been re-routed to increase trail length, and better utilize the space and terrain. This is considered a beginner to moderate trail difficulty. Lots of fun, with twists and turns and some moderate hill climbs.
Previous description:
Funny little trail, it had a few technical spots but nothing that the average rider can't handle. Most of the trail is well packed with a few loose rocks throughout. Being as it it all in close quarters the trail gets very twisty andand tight in places. There are no real big climbs so if you enjoy rides with little climbing you should enjoy this, if you are a speed freak you should also enjoy this trail.

From Russellville take HWY 7 south. Just before the city limits watch for Dam Road on your right. Turn onto Dam Road and follow it into Old Post State Park. Once you pass Shepard Road take the next right. You will see the Army Corps of Engineers HQ on your left, continue past and the trail is just above the HQ.
