Description: The bikeable perimeter trail follows a levee containing sections of loose sand, dirt, and crushed concrete. The trail connect with both the Apoxee trail and SWA trails.
Wildlife Viewing: Wading birds include snowy egrets, glossy ibis and roseate spoonbills. Alligators are common in the canal while bobcat and deer can sometimes can be sighted on the levee.

Flat, double tracks, not busy at all, abundant birds, some alligators and snakes, but they are more afraid of you. Good workout.
Thank |Trail itself has been underwater, but good if you stay on fire roads.
Thank |Wide, flat, and scenic. Basically out and back unless you want to ride surface streets to make it a loop. Minimal sugar sand to contend with. Mostly hardpack like a fire road. Be alert for gators when you come around blind corners! They are there.
