A wooden boardwalk stretches out into a tranquil wetland, surrounded by still water and barren trees under a cloudy sky. The walkway is lined with wooden railings and leads toward a distant horizon, reflecting the muted light of the overcast day. Owahee Trail mountain bike trail.

Flat, double tracks, not busy at all, abundant birds, some alligators and snakes, but they are more afraid of you. Good workout.

Trail itself has been underwater, but good if you stay on fire roads.

Wide, flat, and scenic. Basically out and back unless you want to ride surface streets to make it a loop. Minimal sugar sand to contend with. Mostly hardpack like a fire road. Be alert for gators when you come around blind corners! They are there.

Mainly all double track but at around 16 miles it's a nice workout.
