Fromt he parking area, cross the road and head back south about a hundred yards and look for the sign at the base of the hill on your right (West). Follow the trail up[ the hill until it forks. The City Creek trail goes right, you're going left. The trail will climb to the top of the ridge on angled rock before dropping you down the other side. As you near the rim, there will be a lookout where the trail heads right (West). Now, you're in for some fun techy riding in the rocks with good views of the city. There is a small loop at the end of the ride. You'll know you're there when you see the golf course in the valley belo on your right. Just keep looking for the cairns. As you get closer to the loop, the trail becomes progressively more technical. Once on the loop, it becomes a full-on trials course in places. If you don't dig it, just retrace your route, if you do, see how much you can ride! On the way back, be sure not to miss the turn at the overlook back up over the hill--if you do, the singletrack you're on will plummet to a lower part of the pavement, and you'll be climbing pavement back to your car rather than flying down the last bit of rock. Hook up with City Creek or Pioneer Rim (going East from where you parked) if you're looking for more miles.
