Mountain Biking Owl Canyon Loop
#228 of 319 mountain bike trails in Idaho
This loop is an even mixture of singletrack and doubletrack. It is challenging for intermediates and fun for experts.
The Owl Canyon Loop is marked with Green arrows on the trailmarkers. There are numbered Yellow Tags on select trailmarkers that correspond to the map at the trailhead to aid in navigation.
Owl Canyon is a great short loop for those of us that want to "get in a ride" but don't have much time.
If ridden from town add 4 miles to the total, making this ride almost 10 miles.

To get to the Disco Trailhead take North St. Charles Street from downtown Salmon
(the street next to Haveman's Ace Hardware). The street heads north and then
up a hill where it turns to gravel. Continue until you see a cattleguard, the
trailhead is just beyond this cattleguard.
