started from the southern trailhead late in the day 04/02/17 only rode to the dry bed lake. mostly double track (80%) but really cool. My reviews will likely all sound the same. i loved the adventure. the drive to Odessa is magical the ride even on double track in the scab-lands is magical. Trail in fine shape. You would not ride this in the heat of summer or even late spring but that is my east coast blood talking. (for the record I LOVE it HERe) the views and the dry lake are fascinating. Saw mule deer and ran into a herd of Cattle which was a new experience. Lastly, be tick aware as i found a couple on my clothes etc..but that may have occured when i went off trail into the sage avoiding the herd!
