Mountain Biking Panorama Trail
#58 of 417 mountain bike trails in Arizona
This trail is a great trail with plenty of everything and everybody can do it. There are some tricky steep switchbacks coming up the mountain, no shame to walk here! Some rocky areas and beautiful views from the top of the mountain. This trail is better suited to intermediate and advanced riders. I prefer to go left from the trail head, but either way will work.

From Highway 260, turn onto Penrod at the stoplight. Continue past the chuck wagon steakhouse and turn right onto Porter Mountain Road. Continue for about 6 miles, trailhead will be off a dirt road to the left. When coming up the hill there is a long sweeping left turn, and a dirt road after it on the left, SKIP IT, and go to the next dirt road with a cattle guard approx 500 ft up the road.
This is one of the best single track type trails I've ridden on! It's not overly tough but not easy either! Good mix of gentle continuous uphill with fast technical downhill sections and with some great views and plenty of shade for those hot days!
Thank |Technical trail with a little bit of dry rocky single track & muddy sections.
Thank |Excellent Scenic Trail. As most have said, this trail has it all. Some fun decents, techy switchbacks, sharp rocks and some long tiring climbs, too. One of my favorites trails in the area. A must do!
Thank |Great trail close to town. Has a bit of everything. RIde CCW and you'll get a long rocky technical descent, steady climb, and twisty singletrack through the pines.
Thank |They don't call it Pano for Nuttin'
Thank |Great views if you go slow, but that's hard to do. This is the local benchmark Strava trail. From the trail head spur go counter clockwise & return on the same spur trail
This trail is awesome. beautiful views up top and plenty of open single track to blast through with lots of tech sections as well! love it!
