The trail can be access from the south, taking the Lake Mary Rd exit and starting near the Marshall Lake Trailhead, or from the north from the Old Walnut Canyon Rd Trailhead near I-40.

I love this ride. Definitely take the time to climb up onto the rim. It's a great place to take a moment off the bike and take in the view.
