Mountain Biking Paul Intemann Memorial Trail
#275 of 1,391 mountain bike trails in Colorado
This trail is sweet. Start out by going up the steps on the section 16 trail. Go almost a mile to
the start of the Intemann Nature Trail (on the right). No long climbs here but a good technical
test broken up with gradually sloping singletrack. Kinda reminds me of Palmer Park but all
spread out and with more scenery. Lots of other trails in the area to explore.

Take US-24 West from I-25. Turn left onto 21st Street. At the top of the hill, go right onto Lower
Gold Camp Rd. At the four way stop, go straight. The parking area is on the right side with a
sign saying "Section 16." Additional parking below this parking area.
Challenging and enjoyable trail with some great technical stuff. This is a regular ride for me and I like the challenges. They just opened a new trail that is a connector between Sect 16 and Intemann, and it is terrific, with lots of elevation changes and switchbacks.
Thank |Nothing too challenging here, and nothing too outstanding, either. However, it's nice to get some good climbing in, offers great views of the springs, and does connect to other, awesome trails.
Thank |Nothing special about this trail other than it being part of the ring the peak trail and connecting manitou to section 16. Some technical parts but after a long day its not enjoyable. Its defiantly not a destination trail, but can be extremely useful when you need it. Straits, and windy trail defiantly not something you want after a long day.
Thank |Too short to be worth your time to get there. Lots of hike a bike sections, very crowded on a recent Sunday.
Thank |Some rolling XC with techy downhills peppered in. Nice, but really wouldn't call it a destination. Mostly just use it to link Section 16 and Mesa (RROS)
Thank |Awesome singletrack and views.
Thank |Not great as a stand-alone, but pretty good as an extension to ther rides, especially Section 16 and Red Rock Canyon Park. There are some highly technical spots--not for the unskilled, but nothing heart-stopping.* Review edited 3/21/2008
Thank |Sweet singletrack. Sme sections you can get flying. There is not alot of traffic here, manly other bikers. Some sections are steep and loose rocks. I like it because it connects to many other trails( Red Rock Canyon, Section 16, etc.). Someday maybe i will try the whole trail(67 miles)!
Thank |Great Trail! The trail has a good mix of up/down hill and some good technical spots. I had to walk the bike over a few parts, but all in all I thought the trail was great! Make sure to stop and enjoy the great views. View more at http://www.shhlacker.com/path.php?pathid=27
Thank |This trail can be interesting if you have grown bored with the other trails around town, but all-in-all I wouldn't recommend it. It really is made for hiking (lots of steeps, ruts, and steps). It is also very short. It is no big commitment to ride it so give it a try, especially if you happen to be in the new Red Rocks Canyon riding park, otherwise, save it for when you just feel like doing some exploring.
Thank |I like Entemman a lot mainly because it's not too crowded although on the weekends it tends to have a lot of hikers. This trail has lots to like: XC with rolling ups and downs, areas of tight, wooded singletrack, some stiff climbs and some nice technical downhill to make it all worth it. It's fun to bike year round although fall and spring are best when it's not so hot. I've even biked it on New Year's Day and had a very pleasant experience. It's a very good overall ride.
