Mountain Biking Paulie's Plunge
#729 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado
Paulie's Plunge connects the middle of Cinch road at Beaver Creek to the Eagle-Vail Trail near the top of Eagle Drive. It's best ridden from top to bottom. The upper section is steep, rooty, and surrounded by a beautiful aspen grove. After crossing a bridge, the middle section not as steep, but is littered with rocky fun along a fast flowing creek. The lower section leaves the creek. It's smooth and fast to the bottom. This narrow singletrack trail drop ~1300 feet of elevation in 1.9 miles. Paulie's Plunge is also known as Stone Creek #2349. If you ride it up, expect to do some pushing in the upper section, above the bridge.

The ride from the top to bottom was lots of fun -> recommended. 4-stars
Thank |The ride from the bottom was a challenge over the rocky middle section. The upper section forced me to push quite a bit -> not so recommended.
