Mountain Biking Pepper Ranch Preserve Trails

****   Add a review
#83 of 289 mountain bike trails in Florida
#2,873 in the world

3 miles of dirt road with cattle from Pepper Welcome Center to mountain bike parking area. Can park at welcome center or at bike parking lot. This will be a 3 loop system once completed. Currently , 1st loop (yellow loop) 5 miles is completed : ie: Panther Pass to Black Bear Berm which starts and ends at the bike parking area. Natural Florida dirt path, barely any sand, technical singletrack on flat land with ups and downs on 10 - 15 foot berms. Sturdy bridges to cross low areas and ditches. Trail features include a 220 foot undulating bridge, stairs, and log overs.
2nd loop (blue loop, Kite Flight) is currently under construction. CAn ride as out and back now. This single track is more technical and runs along a ridge with some narrow areas. Beautiful Natural Woods with lots of Pine, Oaks, and Cypress Trees. Lots of shade. Intermediate level. Goal is to have 15 miles of singletrack in the future (Volunteers working with Conservation Collier) Water, Restrooms, ice machine, showers all available to bikers at the welcome center.

Fun track, lots of shade, lots of wild life, saw turkeys, turtles, friendly staff that works at the park. Very supportive of mountain biking.
Watch for the bike trail signs, so that you don't get lost. Beautiful park, lots to enjoy
