Mountain Biking Peterson Pits
#52 of 96 mountain bike trails in Iowa
There are two sections to Peterson Pits, east and west. You park on the east
side, west is on the other side of the bridge. Both are multi-use trails but west
seems to be more bike oriented. Judging by the trail, the east side sees more
horse traffic. The trail is very beginner friendly. Mild rolling terrain with few
hills.
