Head left from the parking lot and look for the road that goes to the top of the mesa. It is killer steep and deeply rutted--unrideable for most. Once on top, look for the singletrack that heads to the right. This is the loop around the top of the mesa. There is some sweet singletrack up here. Once on top, most of the ride is pretty easy, but there are a few challenging spots around the loop. Make the loop around the top of the mesa, then test your nerve on how fast you're willing to ride the rutted descent back to the parking lot. Although the singletrack on top is good, the climb to it is brutal, considering how short the overall ride is. This ride is only really worth doing if you've done Zimmerman a zillion times and are looking for something new.

Head east out of billings on Rimrock Road. The road will turn north and become Molt Road. Follow Molt Road as it angles back west. After crossing the railroad, look for the parking area on the left.
