Getting there
Follow the Foothills Boulevard to the right from North Nechako Road. Soon after Vellencher (on the right) you will see a big dusty parking lot on the left. That is where the trail head is.

Hope you like uphills! Some intense DH sections, this park has a lot of future potential, but mainly expert rides may put off newbies.

I gave this a low rating as it was really unclear where the cross country trails were. We had to climb this loose stuff, which was more like scrambling type of material. Then we rode along a narrow ridge (its safe to ride) and came to the end of the ridge, the down portion is easy enough but then you pop back out on the road and no signage to be found. We spotted a trail to the right when we turned left on the road. This is definitely not a beginner trail. Yes there were some go arounds but need some balance skills at a very minimum. It was really interesting to see the features along what is listed on Strava as Kitchen Sink. Would be interested in going back but with a map in my pocket for direction.
