This is one of my favorite places to ride when I'm in Vermont. The trails are well marked and well maintained. Some nice climbs, good technical stuff both uphill and downhill and trails for most level of riders. Some beautiful Vermont scenery as well.

Pine Hill Park is a gem. It has a little bit of everything for everyone. Not super technical but a lot of fun trails. System is compact so can do multiple loops or hit the Carriage Trail for a real healthy climb up and over to Proctor.

Pine Hill Park (PHP) is my favorite Vermont trail (so far). There is a bit everything here: flow, rock gardens, fast downhill switchbacks, drops and natural and built structures. It also helps that it abuts my son's backyard so access to the trails is easy when I go visit. There is something here for everyone, from beginner to expert.

Pine Hill Park is an awesome place to ride. Everything is connected really well by the Carriage Trail, and planning routes is fun.

Awesome day of riding at Pine Hill Park: the singletrack was sweet: Rembrandt's Brush, Stegasauraus, Svelte Tiger, Outlook- all of it! Two hours of bliss including a nice out and back cruise on Carriage trail. Could not be better...kuddos to the trail builders and many improvements made to turns and erms through out...love this place!

It's possible that I could grow to like this course. Came here for my very first east coast ride after moving from Michigan. Trail description reads "great single track" which got me extremely excited. Turns out Michigan single track and this single track are a little different. My hardtail made this ride very unenjoyable and I tried riding almost every single path.
Moral of the story, don't use a hardtail. If I had a FS I'd probably be happier with this trail.

What a great park, well maintained, drains well, flowy and fun. Took Stegosarus to test my 2d year Mt biking skills and it was a good stretch to up my game. Will have to come back to master a few sections. Intermediate trails all very fun and offer some good speed. What a great surprise and easy access once in Rutland. My favorite get-away ride.

Great trails that are challenging yet fun. Lots of man made and natural features which are very well maintained. People are friendly and the views are good. Hard to believe that right in the city you can be lost InThe woods. Great climbs and DH.

I'm fortunate to have this down the street from me. I'm a out of shape 50 year old and the climbs are a great cardio that offer plenty of roots and rocks. Downhill is easier but trails seem a little tighter on the way down. It's fun conquering obstacles that I once couldn't do. Everyone raves about Rutlands little gem. If you're coming from out of town don't be afraid to spend some money at our LOCAL restaurants! Enjoy!

This park is incredible. It doesn't have the most technical trails, but a couple are good (top of half pipe, Stegasaurus, Strong angel). The second half of Half Pipe is a great gravity trail, flowing out onto Exit Strategy, which you can also take at a fast speed. The trails are incredibly well maintained. Trails are very well marked. So well marked, that at most intersections, there is a good trail map showing where you are. It is worth the drive. Only drawback - being th ebest trail in a city, it has lots of people - walkers, joggers, other bikers. A weekday - day is best. I can't imagine a nice summer weekend. Many evenings also have races, as well as group rides. Price to pay for the premier Mountain bike park around.

Pine Hill Park offers a little bit for everyone. Maybe not the gnarliest or the easiest but it is a fun place to ride with fun places to explore. Most trails ride well in both directions. Most technical trails are Stegosaurus, Broken Handlebar and Halfpipe. Most fun trails are Sisyphus, Voldemort, Birches, Shimmer, Underdog(S to N), Exit Strategy.

This park is amazing considering it's maintained by volunteers and FREE to utilize. There are trails for all abilities. They even have several wooden berms and bridges to keep things fun. I've been there several times this season and conditions have been great. We're lucky to have this place in Rutland. Last time we visited we ran into people from Albany, NY that traveled up here specifically to ride at Pine Hill and they were loving it.

Well done trail system. Plenty of loops to choose from. Steady climbing and some fun descents. Handful of bridges and trail features. Berms are well done. Something for everyone.

Nice place to ride if in the area. Broken Handle Bar, Half Pipe, Under Dog, were some of my favorites. Well marked trails no map needed. I luckily hit it early, left as it filled in, a lot of riders in a little park.

Spent a morning here on a bike trip to Vermont in peak fall. The conditions at this place were perfect. The trails were buff, marked, and well maintained. The unique bridges were definitely something fun to check out and there was a nice mix of bermed flowy trails (Svelte Tiger, Underdog), some rocky stuff (Stegosaurus) and a little bit of basic jumps and freeride (Broken Handlebar, Halfpipe). We put together a nice 10 mile loop by looping the park counter-clockwise, adding in interior trails along the way. Our favorite trail of the day was probably Rembrandt's Brush as it was fast, bermed, and has some nice little rocks to pop off along the way. Although I would probably not make the 4 hour trip from home (MA) exclusively for this network, it is definitely worth the trip since you are within 20-40 minutes of a number of good trail systems and can easily make an epic weekend out of it.

This place exceeded my expectations for a city park. I rode 10 miles here coming home from Burlington and couldn't have asked for more. I really liked stegosaurus, overlook and svelte tiger. Jersey turnpike and broken handlebar had some technical rollers on them as well, with stegosaurus being the hardest trail in the system with short and steep rocky climbs and some rollers as well. Must ride!

Flowy, buff trail; perfect berms; "slick rock"; rock gardens; creative bridges; singletrack; doubletrack; beautiful vistas; and that was just the first 3 miles of the ride. An amazing variety packed into a park! My favs: 1. Underdog (ridden toward Rocky Pond), 2. Svelte Tiger (down), 3. Overlook (the suspension bridge!).
