Mountain Biking Pipeline/bronwyns

***   Add a review
#13 of 37 mountain bike trails in Queensland
#6,670 in the world

The trail starts off with a very tight technical section with rocky berms and quite a few small table tops. As you progress down the trail it starts to open out into some nice DH sections with North Shore style obstacles and some very nice man made berms. The trail is rated Very Difficult by the International Mountain Bike Association though there are B-Lines around all of the tricky bits. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Getting there
Head up to Mt Coot-tha National park via Payne Road (this will take you up the ridge which doesn't have the TV towers on it). Once in the park, take the first right at the top of the hill. This will lead past some houses being built to the entrance of a fire trail. Head up the fire trail untill you reach the first T intersection and go straight ahead. There is a small drop in to a single track trail which you follow for approx 50 metres untill you see a single track heading along the side of the mountain. Follow this untill you reach a rock wall which is the drop in for Pipeline (the trail is also marked by signs).
