I 70 exit 147 , head south to roundabout and head West on Highway 6
quick left onto Capitol St. for 3/4 mi to Brush Creek Rd. Follow past Capitol
Theater and make left on Sylvan Lake Rd., take right on Eagle Ranch Rd.
and park near Brush Creek Elem.
From Sylvan Lakes Road, turn right onto Eagle Ranch Road and then turn
right onto Forth of July road. Follow until left on Arroyo Blvd, and travel
about 75 yards to obvious parking lot on right. Trailhead- Follow easy
climbing double track road at the back of parking lot for about 2 miles over
two cattle guards and bear left onto single-track (Pipeline).
Pipeline to Mike's is always an afternoon well spent. I have no idea how to explain the trail to anyone in writing. Up Pippeline to Hardscrabble road. Up another mile or so and catch a singletrack into the woods near a big Doug Fir. You definitely need to go with someone who knows the area.
