Mountain Biking Pleasant Valley Loop
#283 of 300 mountain bike trails in Virginia
This is a nice trail for a quick ride after work. Definitely a beginner to intermediate trail. Has a little of everything, short climbs, fast downhills, rock gardens, roots and some small trees to jump. I ride this after work and on weekends since I live right next to it. It's right off the back of Cub Run and circles Pleasant Valley Golf course. It's far enough back off the golf course so you still feel like you are in the woods. A good place to jump in on the trail is off a playground to the right of the golf course entrance. You follow the paved trail to the left until it ends at a single track which goes along the power lines for a bit. You can hook up to some paved trails if you want to take the kids with you that run through Cub Run park.
