The Nature center And adjoining PMI have extensive trail networks. The Nature trail is just a concrete path that goes from the Pueblo Dam to the middle of town. The part we are interested in starts west of the parking lot. From the parking lot head west throught the big rocks. Follow the trail up what is affectionately called DOG S&@T hill . Stay allong the gully until you get to the railroad tracks to the NW. Once at the railroad tracks its a free for all. Take any of the Many trials all over PMI. I usually head towards the N by following the trail along the track down into the big valley... Have fun but watch witch way you go so that you can find your way back to the parking lot. Be carefull on the weekends because there is LOTS of motorcycle traffic. This makes a great night ride due to the fairly tame terain that covers most of the park. There is Down hill in some spots and tones of different places to go!!
This is not quality riding at all. It is boring and not hard at all. Go out to south shore if you want some fun technical riding.
Thank |Mostly flat. All brown. Stick with the South Shore trail system at the Reservoir if you're looking for quality mountain biking in this area.
