Mountain Biking Pointy Knob Trail
#78 of 112 mountain bike trails in West Virginia
This trail isn't for the light-hearted. Toughest trail on canaan mountain for sure. Makes Plantation trail seem like cake-walk. You will either love it or hate it... no in between. I loved it, but very few seem to and some don't even consider it a bike trail :)

This trail is on Canaan Mountain and is considered a USFS backcountry trail. Its can be easily accessed from canaan loop road on canaan heights. It intersects with loop road twice forming a loop you could say. Its kinda right with all the other canaan mountain trails like Plantation, Allegheny/Davis trail, Lindy, and fire trail. Pick up the "canaan valley adventure map" from the bike shop or highland prospects in davis for a complete map of the USFS trails on canaan mountain as well other must go areas.
