This review is based on a brief snow/fat bike ride. We had snowshoed the trail the day before and the first half mile of trail was well packed and fairly gentle. After that the switchbacks were too icy for our taste. We did this fun stretch as a side diversion before heading to the Hancock Pass road. The steep climb on Tin Cup Pass road to get to the singletrack was tough, loose mashed potato snow. The half mile was great but not worthy of a ride on it's own.
