About ten miles west of Roanoke on Route 311, you can access this trail in the New Castle Ranger District of the Jefferson National Forest.
do NOT ride the Lipes Trail!! It is WILDERNESS and illegal to ride there. We hold a race, the Excape, AROUND the Wilderness, but if people are riding in the Wilderness we could get our race cancelled!
