Mountain Biking Puhinui Reserve

**   Add a review
#84 of 171 mountain bike trails in North Island
#9,756 in the world

Puhinui Reserve is a farm-park owned by the city council not far from the airport in South Auckland. It's most famous for horse eventing but there are also some easy all-weather, gently sloping, shared pathways around the farm that make for a nice ride, suitable for almost all the family.

The Te Araroa long distance walking track follows the Puhinui Stream into the farm from the north east. If you cross the paddock on the northern side of the reserve, you'll find where the track enters the farm and you can then follow it up the stream for a few kilometers.

There are toilets by the car park.
