Lift serviced trails within the bike park do no allow climbing. Trails include Jester, Merlin, Drawbridge, Black Forest, J-Bar, Roly Grail, Enchanted Forest, and Knightslayer.
Commencal releases the new Furious, the EWS adds first-ever East Coast stop for 2020, tools from Blackburn, and Red Bull Rampage is going down on Friday.
We went up to ride Kingdom Trails, camped in a campground on Burke MT. The ski lift was closed, we didn't ride the DH section. We did ride some of the Burke trails to Kingdom Trails. Some scenic point, but Kindgom trail were nicer.
Rode there this September on a borrowed DH bike. This was my third time riding a lift-served mtb park. I had a great time. I rode Jester the most. A great trail for all abilities. Lots of choices for lines. No mandatory airs. I rode Rolly Grail, Jester, Black Forest, J Bar and Knight Slayer. The hits on Knight Slayer were tough for me, but all the other trails were rideable at speed for me. I am pretty sure I could ride most of this on my trail bike. There were a few kids going big on Jester with park bikes. Overall, a great place to go to introduce yourself to lift served Mountain biking. Easier and less developed than Highland.
Enough trails to easily keep you busy for a day - and more than enough features to scare a relative DH noob like me (Knightslayer!) in the very best way possible. Jester is a swoopy, berm-packed slice of awesome. Link up with the Kingdom trails network and you've got one hell of a weekend of riding.
