Our rides began from the parking area described in directions. You can obtain a map of the area online, search Quebec Run. The area is part of Forbes State Forest and is a hidden treasure no one likes to mention. The locals must want to keep it their little secret. You can link many different trails to make several different loops. There are also gated gravel maintenance roads you can use for linking trails as well.
We enjoyed a long ride there in 2008. Left the parking lot, around the gate, took a right on Tebolt Trail. Then right on West Rd. (steep downhill) and turned onto Mill Run Trail to the left. Take Mill Run to Jug Run, left on gravel rd. then next left on Quebec Rd., to picnic area on the left near top (long climb). In the picnic area we took Hess Trail to Brocker Trail, left on Brocker and then right on the gravel road that takes you back to your vehicle. There is a long fast downhill on this road and a couple tough climbs. The trails in this area can be quite technical in places with a few quite steep sections. Reminds me of riding in Pocahontas County WV. Several fun rocky sections to keep you happy. See map and make your own loop.
6/22/18. Trails were damp due to recent rain. We rode the Tebolt Loop clockwise. Overall this place has some nice rock gardens, punchy climbs and sweet downhill. Lots of parking and starting options to choose from. Definitely a worthwhile place to visit!
Warning: lots of erosion at stream crossings. The last 2 - 2.5 miles of Tebolt are mostly uphill in very bad condition due to erosion. I felt there was too much hike a bike for my liking. I hope there is a trail advocacy group that can advertise trail work days for that area to attract newcomers and keep trails rideable.
Thank |The road coming in can be a little rough but a car can manage it. The trails are very well maintained. Lots to do here, biking, hiking, camping, dogs.
Thank |Center access road makes it nice for climbs back up the hill for another run.
Trails are technical and challenging.
Lots of fun.
June 1st, warm and humid. Came in on some back roads from Rt 381. Began at Wirsing Rd parking lot. Took the connector trail from the lot to get to Tebolt Trail. This little connector has rough (hike-a-bike) sections once you get in to the woods. I biked clockwise on Tebolt to Hess to the pk lot at the north end of Quebec Rd. The first half of this pedal had a lot of variation in terrain. Smooth singletrack, rock gardens, roots, stream beds, stream crossings, ups, downs. In other words, good stuff. I had to stop and look around at one point on Hess. It was a carpet of fern covering everything between the trees as far as I could see. Very green and vibrant. From the northern pk lot, I came down Miller Trail, which has some speedy descents and a few steep portions. Hooked a right on Rankin across to Quebec Rd and back to my vehicle. Ventured down Tebolt Rd, but not off the mountain.
Thank |This trail was a bit hard to find, but if you follow the directions provided and also see the blog address given below that has maps and descriptions it should be a bit easier.

The suggested route is about 13 miles of singletrack. Some of it is very fast and rideable, and some is quite slow going technical challenge. It is a great loop of varied terrain. Everything from flat riding by a stream, to a long low grade climb, to sustained descents through fern groves (my favorite part). It took me 2 hrs and 45 min to ride the loop, and I was whipped. The trails are very well marked and maintained. There was nobody out here either, a great find, only a 35 minute drive from Morgantown.
