Mountain Biking Trail #8

*****   Add a review
#273 of 1,392 mountain bike trails in Colorado
#2,471 in the world

Not the greatest ride in the Grand Valley but I still like to revisit it once in a
while.
Too much sand lots of rock drops, sweet single track, and ups and downs. I
usually ride the Rim Trail as a figure 8. Ride east across the cattle guard
and turn right Continue straight on RV Trail #4 to the ridge. Follow the
road that drops down to the bench. Watch for Trail # 8 to take off on the
left. Ride in a clockwise direction. When you climb back out continue north
on #4 now the road watch for the single track on the left. Be aware this is
also getting to be a popular motorcycle route

Fun fast , moderately challenging, need map, directions, wide open views of Colorado river , moderate exposure, some ability to navigate drops , climbs, directions.

The scenery makes this trail amazing. It is a destination trail and not just for technical riding. No where near as many people as book cliffs.
