Race loop follows most of the major trails at Alameda Park. Start with the Welcome Mat, move on to Mick Jaggers and then Rainbows and Unicorns. All of this is straightforward singletrack. Next is Alien Armpit and Yinz GOYS, where the heavy switchbacks come in. Descend to the lower portion of Alien Armpit and ascend up to the lower portion of Rainbows and Unicorns. Connect with Finger Splint to Jungle Boogie and Tunnel Vision. Next you cross into the new western section, with Jesse's Girl, featuring optional skinny. Sharp right onto Turn Down for What. Before the major descent, take a race only detour up an access path to a trail along the ridge, where you turn left. Follow this to the new, incredible downhill at the northwest end, but just before the end of the downhill take another race only detour up to connect with the other ridge trail. This will cross your previous path and send you down to Stacey's Mom, which will take you back to cross the road. Next take Swam Pass all the way to its connector with Pool Boy. Follow most of the Pool Boy loop, but when it enters the grass at the top, take the grass back to the parking lot. 1 loop for beginners, 2 for sport, 3 for expert.
