Mountain Biking Rawhide Creek
#156 of 265 mountain bike trails in Montana
This is an all atv route out and back or can be looped with other trails and a lot of road. It passes by some impressive granite rock formations which, unfortunately, are not incorporated into the route--it's just a simple road/doubletrack. As a motorized trail, some of the pitches are very steep, but the overall grade is fairly easy.

This trailhead is close to the Muskrat Creek trailhead. Follow the directions to Muskrat Creek, but look for a right turn signed for Rawhide Creek well before the end of the line at Muskrat. Take that fork until it dead ends at the start of the trail.
There is a ton of untapped potential here. As a mountain bike ride, it has little going for it except as a scenery spin. The granite formations are reminiscent of Colorado's famous Buffalo Creek area, but lies well off to the sides of the route. .
