ride up the road to the top and injoy the single track down. This is about a 1700 verdicale climb so be ready. This should take you 1 HR. to climb and look for the single track off the road. I'ts really one of the best rides here.

On anything 6+ the road to the top, at the cross, is a b****. XC rigs and fit riders will have no problem killing the climb. Depending on which fork you take and when, one can make this a fun meander, or a haul ass downhill with loooong air and a couple of 2-4 to stick-it-quick before the road. For the young or the long travel, the air out to flat road gets points (and pain). Straight stretch next to the water tower is a great place to play the no brakes game, if you are having an argument with your collarbone. In all honesty, not a once in a lifetime thing. But if you are a local, awesome after work pre-beer fun time with self imposed challenge. If you are visiting, give it a try, Glenwood locals ride harder than you do after work and pre-beer. And we would love to buy you one at the bar if you can smoke us.
